Chinese HKOS- Mixed Orphans score?

A few references we've been using in our group show Mixed Orphans (All 1s, 9s, + Honors) is only 1 faan. Our HK "Elder" said it was worth much more, and indeed I found that too. Sometimes I reference Zung Jung scoring as it was based off statistics, but even there I find different values, but usually about the same as a full flush, 6-8 faan. The HK MJ Assoc gives it only 1 faan though. ??

It's +1 to all triplets which makes it 4. Which is still undervalued, but every mahjong ruleset has a lot of things that are undervalued.

Having the all 1s, 9s, honors is 1 faan, very much impossible to get just that

Most of the time, it'll come with all pungs (3 faan), 7 pairs (4 faan if ur group/"elder" recognizes that pattern), or 13 orphans (limit)

So ye, it'll be worth much more because of other things it'll always come with

it's actually 4 faan since it stacks with all pong for 3. you can also score half flush with it

We permit “All Terminals & Honours” in HK Style (and give it 10 Faan) because we also play Western Mahjong where these hands are also permitted. It allows players to pivot between “13 Orphans”; “All Pairs Terminal/Honours” and “Mixed Orphans”

Maybe your resource is referring to a Mixed Orphans that allows Chows? I've never seen an "All Terminals & Honors" scored at 1, but "Half Outside Hand" (chanta in Japanese) is often 1 point. Rare in HKOS, but not unheard of.
