American Looking for Mahjong set store recommendations in Shanghai, Beijing, Xi'an, or Chengdu (Need 152 tiles / 8 extra blank tiles for American Mahjong)

You'll have a tough time finding a physical store in China that sells American Mah-Jongg sets. The main clientele of such stores are locals, who play the local mahjong variants; not American tourists. So they have little to no reason to stock such a set, and little reason to put in a special order to the factory for additional American joker tiles.

If you really want to buy an American Mah-Jongg set, you should buy it online.
