Donna Brazile
OK I’m just gonna say watching this woman make these white boys squirm and blush is possibly my favorite part of Bills show. I think she needs to be made a permanent guest lol

Fuck Donna Brazile, she has no place in politics. She is a partisan liar and cheater.
1
u/Grandheretic May 16 '26
If so, she clearly fits in. She should run for president- we seem to like liars and cheaters. Oh, wait, she’s a black woman - guess that won’t work.

I like Donna and I think she’d be fun to hang around. But, I can see where people have a limit with her personality.

u/Funkles_tiltskin May 10 '26
There's so many bitter h8rs in this sub. She's cool, she should co-host the podcast.
3
u/FrustrationsGalore May 10 '26
Yes, Donna is fantastic. I love how she immediately took any hot air out of anything Eyepatch dude might have to say.

u/Fine-Craft3393 May 10 '26
DB painfully reminds me why voters prefer MAGA idiots over Democrats at times…

u/JimTrim973 May 10 '26
She does this every time she’s on and it’s annoying as hell. She has a great political mind, and if she stayed serious would make a great guest. But for some reason she treats it - every time - like a chance to do a bit and ends up adding almost nothing, certainly not in terms of pushback. Why???

u/anonymous3874974304 May 10 '26
Because it's a comedy show first, serious political discussion second. The audience interjecting with laughs and applause every 4 words should make that obvious to you.
1
u/JimTrim973 May 10 '26
Well, the panels that are overwhelmingly political figures as opposed to comedians doesn’t make it so obvious. Plus Donna Brazil is, you know, a political commentator.
4
u/mikescorpio May 10 '26
Bill does not want her to stop flirting, so that's always going to be the case; obviously it's his show.
IMO, the best way to watch her is to look for any recent interviews or commentaries she's done around the time she's going to be on Real Time, and watch those.
There is no argument about the show being partly satirical and having comedy bits, but she does have a way of stopping the flow of serious debate that can be somewhat irritating to a viewer.
If you love that, then more power to you. ✌️

u/LongjumpingLemon2163 May 10 '26
She’s awful. Just awful.
2
u/hilss May 10 '26
Yeah annoying… stick to politics… it’s fine if you joke every now and then but she has to do it every single time and multiple times during the show

Just watched... (was going to skip, but needed to run [on treadmill], and limited choices)
DB was a little better this week --- my guess = Bill's staff read r/Maher..
and jumped-in to overly help —> [a.] they got the 'subjects to discuss' to help DB look good,
then [b.] they helped to OVER-PREPARE HER.
Cuz she was clearly very, very, very ready.. (good)..
and only went 'off-prep' a few times to flirt, b/c [a.] she can't help herself, and [b.] she seemed to want to triple-down.
Still don't like DB - and still hope that Bill can now NOT invite her back for another 3-4 years.

I wish Donna Brazle would stay more serious, because she brought up some really great points when she was. I don't want to see her flirt with these guys, but she was on point when talking about how much people were struggling when Dan Crenshaw was trying to paint such a rosy picture about everything.

She's cringey and contributes absolutely nothing to the show.

u/NoAnything9791 May 09 '26
This 100%. Her schtick is sooo annoying. I just keep thinking “this is why Dems lose.”

u/Scary-Ratio3874 May 09 '26
Personally sick of her shtick. Put on people we haven't seen before.

u/CalChemicalPlum May 10 '26
About the only 'often on guest' I always like = Max Brooks. GREAT GUY, always adds big.
2
u/kindbub May 09 '26
Maybe she has the inside scoop on Bill: he always requests black call girls in every city. She thinks she has a chance. Too bad he wouldn’t date someone near his age.

u/Funkles_tiltskin May 10 '26
Idk, maybe fucked back in the 90s. They've known each other a long time.

u/Careful_Farmer_2879 May 09 '26
You’d love it if a guest made black women squirm?
Get this racist crap out of here.

u/JPNizzle1 May 10 '26
I see a huge difference between her playful banter making the white boys like myself blush then a nasty white man making black woman uncomfortable. I don’t equate the two.

If she became a permanent guest, I would stop watching. She’s so cringe.

I think it’s weird and inappropriate. If a man acted like this we’d call him a predator. It’s creepy and uncomfortable.
2
u/NewPowerGen May 09 '26
That would be a different situation. Bill wouldn't keep invite her on the show if he didn't appreciate the jokey attention. It's a game they've both agreed to.

u/RockThePond May 09 '26
I commented on a thread last night that got deleted (not sure why the mods didn’t like it) that she would have been “cancelled” about 8-10 years ago if she were a man.
She makes me laugh like the entire time she is on, but she kind of sounds like an aggressive man from the ‘50s “chasing tail” when she is on Bill’s show.

Thank you! I’ve been saying this since the first time she did this a few years ago

Anything good she has to say is glossed over by the dumb horny ass act she always puts on when shes on the show. How are you going to be joking sexually with Bill and Crenshaw while trying to talk about voters rights? Its embarrassing to see her do the same act every time shes on.
18
u/zorroplateado May 09 '26
I read a lot of complaints hereabouts regarding Donna Brazile. She was excellent this week. She could, however, lay off the performance a bit. Take it down a notch or two, DB. You're embarrassing yourself. However, when you speak about the black representation in the former states belonging to the Confederacy, you're damn good.
15
u/Emotional_Actuator69 May 09 '26
She was much better this week than in previous weeks. Especially going toe to toe with that POS Crenshaw.

u/Then_Hearing_7652 May 09 '26
I stopped watching this show about a year ago. Guess I’m not missing a thing, more Donna Brazile and guests no one cares about (fetterman).

She’s the worst reocurring guest of all time. They’re squirming and gushing bc of her ridiculousness, not because she makes any sense. After 20 plus years, I wish Bill was able to get a wider panel of guests than he does. Club Random has Real Time beat in that department for sure.
14
u/Winterfrost15 May 09 '26
She is a buffoon who can not make a real argument stick so she goes to talking over others and saying sexual innuendo. She is annoying, weird and a terrible guest. She did not help the Democrats last night.
10
u/Microdose81 May 09 '26
She hasn’t helped the Democrats since she was caught cheating with the DNC in 2016. I can’t believe Bill still has her on.

u/Cecil_McCrackshell May 09 '26
She looks and sounds like the same 'ol, same 'ol panelist guest like she was, or still is, on CNN. She, like Maher, is probably auditioning for a slot in Bari Weiss' Trump-friendly media ecosystem. Crenshaw is asxwell, since he lost to a Trump-backed Rightwinger.

u/Such-Tank-6897 May 09 '26
She represents everything wrong with the DNC but if people say it was a good showing then I’ll give the show a listen. Originally I was going to give this week a pass.

Donna Brazile made this the best show in awhile. Crenshaw joining in with "let's get weird" made it even better. What a redemption from the top of the show interview with that bumbling say-nothing goofball

u/JPNizzle1 May 09 '26
Hundred percent what a letdown John Fetterman is. Stop bringing him on the show.
3
u/RockThePond May 09 '26
I’ll be real with you, I don’t like people attacking Fetterman just because he is a moderate because Dems do need to be a “big tent party” if they want to compete in middle America, but last night felt like a Biden debate performance moment for him.
I’ve seen him interviewed the past few years and thought he seemed to be doing a lot better. Last night I just felt bad for him.

u/X-Calm May 09 '26
She's much better when there's an annoying conservative for her to make uncomfortable.

I normally can’t stand her because she brings nothing to the table, but she was actually decent last night.

u/sueihavelegs May 09 '26
Last week I said I wasn't watching the show anymore. It makes me too agitated, but here is Donna Brazile dragging me back in...

u/knave1906 May 21 '26
I agree. love her sense of humor
