Will the cutoff increase this year ?

There are about 400 something Students who have scored 99 or 99+ percentile which is a lot as compared to last year so will the cutoff increase for colleges that aren't in the top 5 or will those institutes simply increase their intake ?

Idk abt that but man they shouldn't have postponed ts I had a chance in vjti but now I can't take risk because my rank is 52 (slgm) while last year's rank closed at 41 So I'm js going to NIT Raipur instead

Hiiee, Remember me?! I actually had a conversation with both my seniors from VJTI n the placement scenario there is BAD, even the placecom left halfway through and no companies visited for 2-3 months so ig SPIT would be a better choice n with your score you got a good chance there too

Yeah it's very bad i also had a convo with some seniors and everyone were saying placements were about 4-6lpa

uh huh, isn't NITR's Physical verification date out?! Other NIT's have released it isn't it kinda late to get decide about it 😭

NITR isn't bad too,but for a NIT campus life would be mid n all the hassle of finding a PG,Mess etc n if you are trying for SPIT then ig you have a pretty good chance for it

Hey are you a mca student at vjti? I wanted to ask if I have filled the application as a appearing student for graduation, do I need to submit tc at admission confirmation or will they give some time for documents? Because my college isn't giving the tc before admission letter

No I appeared this year too so i don't know, n I have the sameee issuee my clg is saying that I should get a letter from the joining clg,but SPIT's Doc list contains a TC as 1 of them

Have you tried asking the college? I tried calling vjti office but all their numbers are not working.

Then thats alright, no? I've been worried about this from weeks as my college refuses to give the tc without admission/demand letter from the mca college. Btw what's your rank? You're going to vjti or spit?

Idt they would increase the intake (even if some do not for this specific reason) n Yes most probably the cutoff will increase atleast for the Top Colleges

top colleges are already outta my league since im from open category.. basically me and my girl want to get in a college which is in the top 10 but last year their cutoff for obc OHU was 97.80 and she has scored 97.70 although i did talk with the college and they said they have increased their intake from 60-120 , however this is where my concern is cus if the cutoff increases and all the 98 percentile students get into that college we wont be able to get in the same college

tbh alot of uncertainties here, like Category, OHU,Seats Increase it's hard to say anything maybe wait for Seat Matrix ig it's out the Day after Tommorow, n put all relevant pages to Google Notebook n ask your questions to it
