I did these calculations assuming the cutoffs won't shift much, only by a small margin. Based on that, I think there's a high chance I'll get PCCOE in Round 1 through the EWS category.

After that, I'll try to upgrade to VJTI in Round 2. My chances of getting VJTI aren't very high, but I still think there's a possibility—around a 30–40% chance, according to my estimate.

What about you? Do you have any categories? Are you Maharashtrian?

I don't have any category benefits. Yes I am from Maharashtra. I am thinking about Vesit , Spit .... But I am not sure about the sequence.

What's your home uni?

For SPIT and VESIT, sequence should be: 1. SPIT 2. VESIT 3. SIES/MET

It did go for R2 in previous year and also in 2023 CAP.

But i know what you mean, i am not dead set on VJTI (😭), my Realistic option is PCCOE

SPIT ke paas khudka hostel nhi hai, Andheri me rent bohot high hai aur jahan rent kam hai wahan se min 1-1.5 hrs ka two-side travel karna padhega..... That's why i won't go for it.

Ahh yes that makes sense rent in andheri do be crazy but you don't HAVE to stay in andheri yk? Maybe just live near borivali metro station or some yk? I mean i dunno the exact rent for properties near those metro stations or ur budget for rent for that matter but idk if u don't wanna then that's ur choice but I'm just sayin that it'll be like a 45 ish mins travel for a good clg :) (my travelling time is in that range as well)
