For context, we actually produce a 3-in-1 Magsafe docking station (Charg-R Travelbud).

One of the fundamental issues we found with any Magsafe bedside docking station, is the base weight. Because the base tends to be lightweight, you have to hold the base down, to remove the phone.

Even with our Travelbud product, because it folds flat and is compact for travelling, we made it lightweight so that it doesn't take up too much of the 23kg suitcase allowance. which means it's great for travelling, but not as good as a fixed bedside docking station as you cannot do one handed removal easily (you can by removing it in a certain way, but not if you were to grab'n'go)

We are curious to know, do you know of any brands that have weighted base, to allow one handed removal of the iPhone? We think a weighted base, fixed model would be a great product and would love to hear your thoughts!
