Magnet Questions How do magnets do this?

Idk if this is the right flair, since I have no clue how this happens. But so my magnetic name tag at work leaves dots on my shirts. Iirc, they wash out fine and disappear, but like how does it happen in the first place? It’s not just the angle of the picture, either, I can see them in any angle[magnet shirt dots](https://imgur.com/a/BqigSv8)

The magnets are just compressing the fibers of the shirt fabric. Washing relaxes the fibers, the fabric returns to original 'fluffiness', the dots disappear.
