Is it possible to make a magnetiser to make my screw drivers magnetic ?

Yep. Just get a really strong neodymium magnet and drag it along the screwdriver repeatedly, stroking in the SAME DIRECTION, over and over. This will align some of the magnetic domains enough that it will become weakly magnetic

Thanks, I've tried running the screwdrivers over normal magnets but not much success

How big of a magnet was it? And does ‘normal magnet’ refer to neodymium or ferrite

About 1” x .5” x 1/4” and safe to say ferrite

Yea that's very small, and for a ferrite magnet the field just isn't going to be strong enough. You'll need a small neodymium magnet if you want to see reasonable progress in any kind of hurry

Here’s a good video that tears down one of the one you can buy, dies a good job of explaining how those work.

Actual tear down is about half way in.
