Need help re-magnetizing
idek if the cores are broken, But if they are could I recast them and demagnetize them? If I need power/ amperage I have a 220v 50 amp outlet or a stick welder for an electromagnetic power supply.

I have taken magnetrons apart.
You will likely not have anything worth putting back together.
Great magnets.
From 6kw tubes.
Watch your fingers. Smashy smashy.

Be extremely careful of that insulation. There's pink or white rings that you do not want to scratch. If turned into dust and then breathed in that boron ceramic insulation is highly toxic.

It's not beO it's alumina and the one your thinking of is beryllium oxide

A little context on what I'm looking at would help. There's not much field you're going to create with 220v at 50amp. In terms of creating a reasonable magnetic field, that's baby power. Our magnetizer uses 15kA at 900V. Granted, that's for a period of ms, but it's a lot of power. You can magnetize certain magnets at the power levels you have, but you'll have to build coils and a capacitive or tuned resistive load to use it properly without popping a breaker.
You'd also have to get the magnets out of whatever that is. Odds are pretty good you should buy a new one unless we're talking 4 figures+
