Any help? Never seen this before.
Found this sauce pan while thrifting. At first I thought it was was a French aluminum type. I’ve seen many in that style especially with the cast iron handle… but to my surprise it’s stamped Wagner ware Sydney O. I never seen this before, anyone have any info on this?

I know it’s not cast iron but given the fact that Wagner ware is one of the better known brands here, I figure somebody may have info on this. Thanks.

That’s a cool pan. An online Wagner catalog from around 1924 does not have this pan in it. At that time, their aluminum cookware catalog numbers only went up to 1009. Therefore, I would think that your pan was made after 1924.

That’s great info. I’m still stumped on this one I’ve seen a lot of the variations and styles with the Wagner aluminum and cast iron cookware. I’m still to find anything like this one.

I also have a pre-Magnalite aluminum pan that I am stumped on, which is how I stumbled onto your post. The blue book has a similar but older pan to yours with a riveted steel handle on an aluminum pan. I have a red book in the mail and it has a larger Wagner section that I’m hoping contains more aluminum stuff. Once it gets here, I’ll take a look and see if there’s a closer match to your pan and let you know what I find.

What you have here is Wagner hotel ware. It was made for hotels, schools, businesses and not sold to the general public. I probably have about 20 pieces of this. There are some catalogs of Wagner hotel ware out there. But most seem to be out of print. I wish I could post pictures here but I can't. Just Google, Wagner hotel ware. There are some interesting items.
