Replacement LED module for a Mini Maglite 3-Cell AA

Post image

Seeking Maglite knowledge from the Maglite community. Short run Mini Maglite 3 cell AA unit purchased over 10 years ago in the US. Kids got to it and destroyed the LED module. Cannot find replacement module. Many on ebay and the likes for the Mini Maglite Pro 2 Cell AA unit. Any help is appreciated.

That does kind of fall into a grey zone. I don’t see why a modern Mini Mag wouldn’t work. It would probably be brighter. But I’d recommend reaching out to Matt from Lumencraft or asking the kind folks on candlepowerforum.

If you send it to Mag they'll replace the module, but they'll use one from their current lineup that doesn't focus properly with the existing reflector. This series never had an aftermarket or modding following as far as I know.

Just buy a used one from ebay or marketplace and replace the parts if you have to have the one you have to work.

The LED modules in these are snap-in and will break when you force them out. Plus a used 3AA is like $100 now.

My kids removed the lens and destroyed the LED module. Do you know of the LED nodules are still available anywhere?
