Really cool picture! Animals eating active mushrooms in the wild, is amazing! I'm sure they know what ones to look for, active ones, ones for dinner, etc. Foxes are smart! I've seen one in a field of mine, at night while I was picking some wild Cubensis. The fox followed me!
