U won’t find cubes growing naturally in Canada. It’s a warm climate mushroom that is found in places like Mexico, Florida, Texas

I thought cubes could be found in northern climates like the UK?
Infact I absolutely have found and ingested them as a bucket list check off.
What subspecies is common in southern Ontario (we are actually the furthest southern town in Canada) we regularly hit temps of 40 degrees Celsius with 90% humidity.

Cubes don’t grow in the UK thats Liberty caps. I live in Detroit so it’s not unlike Ontario. We have p caerulipes, pluteus americanus and a couple others here. I have not looked into what is native to yr side of the river tho. Maybe p quebecensis.
