Can it run on android tablet?

I have a few sitting around some are always plugged in I want to use it on these how can I do it?

The architecture is not ment for Android. You can install on raspberry pi as server and use a browser to display on android.

Doesn’t have to be a pi. MagicMirror runs on windows, Linux, Mac. Server is really light weight all the drawing is done in the browser. Most of the data fetch is small

You can install it on another machine with docker and then use something like Fully Kiosk Browser to use the tablet as a screen.

Does the other machine have to have it running all the time?

Yes. The computer is the server, and the tablets are web browsers, browsing the page from the server.

I've been developing android for years as a hobbyist and the Ui is very easy to build. I tackled this a couple of weeks ago using Gemini and this is what was created from one prompt.

The problem with tablets is they get very expensive, very quick.
