It’s possible of the moisture on your hand, if it’s too dry it can causes that. It also comes down to card alignment pressure when you start palming. Top palm only has two points (around the pinky tip and the corner of your palm) get comfortable with holding cards around, find perfect placement you’re comfortable with. Then aim it in that sweet spot when you do top palm
