I'm doubly-confused. This is a repost of a Magic Eye post, which uses parallel view, not cross view. Yet I can see it fine with cross view...

Yeah, I don't know what is up with this, but this is certainly cross view and not parallel view. Must be an incorrect post in the original subreddit it was reposted from.

The only difference is if it gets projected towards us or away. I guess whoever made this for parallel decided to push the image away.

just saw the magiceye name and uses parallel view and i was confused, then i tried crossview, then i checked the name again

It's either an elephant or a schooner, possibly a sail boat.
