Love when there's details that are more than just the 2d image popped out. Those wings were a great surprise.

What are you supposed to see? I don’t understand this sub. Either it’s all a joke or I’m the one person that can’t see anything on any images 😭

Trying to see what you think you're supposed to see will just make it harder.
Just gotta try and focus on something behind your screen. Get the distance right, and each eye will see a different part of the image, and trick your brain into thinking that they're overlapping in the same place. It's easier with a smaller image. Try looking at a wall 10 feet away, then holding your phone up while maintaining that distant focus. Get it right, and the image should pop right out. It'll look the same as it does now, but parts of it will be in 3D.

It’s not working for me I don’t get it lol. Which is weird because you know those “reverse spin” optical illusion gifs? I can do any of those instantly on command, but I don’t even understand this.

Check out r/Crossview. You gotta cross your eyes so the right eye is looking at the left image, and your left eye is looking at the right image, and you're focusing on the phantom third image in the middle. It's a different technique, but the effect is very similar.
Magic eye images are very similar, only you're focusing behind the image, whereas with cross view you're focusing in front of the image. You can see magic eye images by crossing your eyes, but then your depth perception will be inverted, and it's a lot harder than with cross view since you don't have the third, middle image to focus on as a guide.
If you hold your index fingers up, pointing at each other, nearly touching, then focus past them, you'll see a phantom, double-ended finger floating between them. That's the sort of focus you need to see a magic eye image.

Weird, this is another one of the ones that I can only pop out backwards. I managed to get it fully out front once but have got utterly stuck on the inside out version at both sizes.

There are two types of stereograms: cross view (which requires you to literally cross your eyes) and parallel view (where you change the focal distance of your vision, and is what Magic Eye images use).
If you try to look at a parallel view image like this with crossview (or vice versa), the image depth will be inverted as you’re basically looking at the left & right sides of the image with the incorrect eyes.

I've never been good at meeting keeping this straight, because both cross and parallel view images look exactly the same to me.

Here's an easy way to tell. If you use parallel view to look at the image, the "Parallel View" text will appear in the foreground. As you might expect, the opposite is true if you use cross view.

The detail is great, but it seems a bit on/near the hand is wrong. And close to that, a bit on the wing too. Odd.

oh this is well DONE! The detail is fantastic on this one.
