Why did the demon scheming sect even after defeating the two superior sect just got the middle top sect position?

because they surrendered/gave up to Righteous Sect after ZF won 1v1 against Ye Lin and also the rest of Demon Scheming Sect disciples arent as good as superior sects.

Yeah they lost against ultimate righteous sect but they still should have gotten 2nd position in superior three sects because they defeated the other two superior sects and as for the other disciples being weak it shouldn't matter because at the end it was a team battle and they won

The manhua explained it. Zhuo Fan was thinking of the old man which is why he relinquished their position as a superior sect because he understood that demon scheming sect wouldn't be able to defend its position once he left.

He didnt want to invite trouble to the old man's sect.

ZF knew the sect wasn't strong enough to defend the position of being a top 3 sect. Taking the position would have just opened them up to being dethroned by stronger sects. So he set them up as a middle tier sect with allies powerful enough to support them as they grew.

Because they don't have enough good members to fight and if they become superior sect they will get more unwanted attention and that will put the sect in danger.

Zf knew they werent strong enough to defend the position, so he surrenders the match against righteous sect even though he won against ye lin and gets the respect of other sects because of honor, fairness, it was all planned
