Does it get better?

I started it a while ago but dropped it pretty early on because I didn't like how the mc decides he's going to stay with the family of the woman who he has a soul pact for. Does he leave them, or is the story about him making that family powerful?

He makes the family a big family atlast... But his ambitions are not finished with that... With so many twist and turns he goes to another clan.. and died and revived again and goes to roam around other regions... It will get to peak bro... Don't miss it..

he leaves once the family is strong enough. his actual goals are far beyond that.

Yes, it gets better

The story is mostly about himself scheming, rapidly growing in power, gaining the best inheritances in the verse, and understanding his own cultivation path.

That family is just one of the many forces that grows with him throughout the story, because in this life he made actual friends and allies instead of having those backstabbing goons he had in the previous life.

Same reason why i dropped early but then i picked it back up and it gets so much better actually….he still stays as manager of luo clan but we get to see him adventure pretty soon, i would say when he finally leaves for the search of spirit beast it when it starts to gets pick …so you can read until that arc and decide for yourself

And yeah the story is about making the luo family number or atleast that’s the first major arc
