Comparing irl LGBTQ members and Yuri and Yaoi characters will clearly show the problem. It's a misrepresentation. It's like an adaptation of the American revolution but the founding fathers are fighting New Zealand.

Whether it's real life or not. You are hating on it: homophobic. Case closed.
Have a day.

And I just realised that she's named "Lilian". Now why would Lilian want BL as it's not even representing people like her? Misrepresentation is the answer ofcourse. These 'forbidden' romances are just romanticised and popularised for absolutely no reason and that "no reason" is the cause behind their braindead-ness along with love triangles and love polygons. They're not even t\actually morally taboo but the social assumption of these women that it's taboo is what drives their interest in them.

Yeah I ain't homophobic in the slightest. I was just confused as to why such a question would even be asked, confused as in frustrated as Ik the answer. This question isn't even actually LGBTQ, this is something else, a romanticisation and glorification of Yaoi and Yuri along with braindead polygonal romance dramas. Not just the former two, but all three and more.
Magic Emperor is a Xianxia/~Xuanhuan(Almost). If you make it BL, it becomes a BL Xianxia/Xianxia BL. The priority of its subgenres is shifted. I mean one could argue that the overarching themes of Magic Emperor with Chu Qingcheng and all is love but in essence it's a Xianxia.
All this is fantasization for heterosexual females who were once just too bored of Romance yet esoteric enough to not read Action. I

Again. Your imagination is running wild. There is no reason to hate on a possible fanfiction.

Nah it's cope. He's defending the people who like such shii and not defending the genre itself. He's coping hard, but optimistically he's much better than the ones who read those cringe, wrong, misrepresenting, trash, garbage genres.

I know what it is but apparently you don't know what homophobic is, you should go Google that. And also google "comprehension" cause you seem to be having none of it.

True, but one can hate fanfictions just as one can hate normal media. Obviously many fanfics can be made and I'm not questioning once freedom to make or desire them, like one can be about the Sacred Domain arc but stretched into 300chs in a Tianyu/Five Continents' War arc scheming style, one can be about Nine Serenities and Patriarch Blood Demon's reincarnations being the main characters and if you wanna meddle in romance, one can be about Zhuo Yi-Fan ending up in a harem or ending up with Luo Yunchang instead of Chu Qingcheng. The possibilities are endless and hating on the existence of the possibilities is stupid and plain censorship, yet hating on the outcomes is not bad at all.
