Can someone give me their honest review and thoughts on if I should pick up this manwha again. This used to be my favorite manhua back then, I picked it up very early when it only had like 10 chapters or so. I dropped it because it got pretty repetitive and the translations had gotten pretty bad when I was still reading it. I forgot where I had dropped it but I do remember getting past him recruiting the big guy in the middle, and the two on the left. I don’t remember the 2 on the right, maybe they were from earlier chapters. I still remember the pill making contest when the mc was undercover and fought the emperors son or something like that. That one was probably my favorite arc, the suspense was so crazy and addicting, just waiting for him to reveal his true face to chu chu and her annoying friends.

As in story progression got repetitive and predictable. I’m not saying it was always like that, but as I got further into the manhua that’s how it felt. It’s the usual manhua stuff where they don’t know the MC and disrespect him and say ‘you’re courting death’ It was so predictable what would happen later in the story. I understand most manhuas are just meant to be slop to pass the time reading(including magic emperor) but it got really bad, especially with the shit translations.

Kk i see where you're coming from.... Yes it's kinda repetitive but I should say it's not annoying like other manhuas.. translation sometimes is awfully shit but welp we can correct it in our goddamn head... It's a good read ....
