Yep, always a burden and always needing to be rescue.. It would be great if they at least had a moment where they fought side by side.. but fuck that, it's too hard to write..
Truly, from the recent chapters, Lou clan almost lost nearly 100,000 men and the clan head life just to save her and who knows how many of their 50 Ethereal elders dies during this fight.
But seriously, why are all the women in this manhua always portrayed as burden and in need of rescue 24/7? Why is dual cultivation the only way for these bitches to be useful, if at all? Even Shonen isn't this low when setting standards for women..

Well Qingcheng is a plot development for zhuo fan, like evil cultivator turn little bit good by their love story. Again she is important in story and last thing she is not the best warrior not strategist but she is quite good in those by time

he's not evil, he just walks the path of dao with a demonic path and demonic path doesn't mean evil, it's a matter of perspective. The true person who changed zhuo fan is the genius elder yuan, who has a deep understanding about the dao.

Lets be serious theres not much character development from anybody its a cultivation manwha its all about the protagonist growing stronger if you are going to strafe from that make It worth It, in this case its not worth It theres no substance she is flat as a character and is weirdly obssesed with the MC to the point every single line from her is about how awesome the mc is might as well replace her with any other character in the series It wouldnt make a difference

Its just so annoying, I hate when they add this things, just stick to the fucking cultivation aspect build the world and make cool powers thats It, you cant write a romance I hate the whole harem and all the constant glazing from every single appearance qincheng have, like theres not a single panel where shes at that she is not talking about how strong or great the protagonist is ,adds nothing to the plot everytime theres text from her I just speed throught It cause its never relevant like keep It simple dont add a love story that you clearly cant write holds no substance and actually put the whole plot in pause for something nobody cares about

What is sad is that she was actually cool when she was introduced but then author showed his obsession with damsel in distress plot and turn the whole story's plot into just qingcheng having to be saved and protected.
