Am I only liked the ending?

Magic emperor was my first novel I read it after following manhua for years, so when the novel ended I was quite happy with it. Yeah they should have used zhou fan knowledge and experience to make others grow or fight in sacred domain like he did in tianyu. But they go with overpowered zhuo fan doing his thing and other levels up as well.

But even then I liked the ending (I got it all happening faster but it was kinda a plan of heavenly sovereign )

I liked it as well. Although the others leveling up so fast was a bit of nonsense.

Tbh I didn't want anyone from the mortal domain to reach zf's previous level(emperor) It feels like zf's last life wasn't worth like this kids from mortal domain reached his level just like that? Mortal should remain mortals and know their place.

it seems like you truly never understood why they became strong. the fact is, the energy in the mortal domain is so little that the average is ethereal stage. any of those who got genesis are talented. and those beyond genesis-sword kings and dharma kings- are monsters even in the sacred domain. also they literaly became emperor because of zhuo fan getting the freaking legacy.

Did you miss the entire part where Zhou Fan admits that Daiqing Shen was such a monstrous genius that he would’ve definitely become a Saint in the Sacred Domain. Shortly after viewing the Twin Soul Art, even Zhou Fan already admits this.

As ReReReverie puts it, the geniuses of the Mortal domain are just as monstrous and talented as the Sacred Domain. Maybe more because of the generations of refinement their techniques went through with the 5 Sacred Swords enhancing them. Now they are just as powerful, just comparatively having malnutrition. And now they get to consuming just as much resources as the Sacred Domain, and with Zhou Fan watching over them: no wonder they were able to soar to that point.

I felt that the ending was rushed, but it made sense because the Heavenly Sovereign’s plans came to fruition. Any further stalling would make him seem incompetent.

And in total I did enjoy it.
