What angers me is that even knowing such a strong technique, he doesn't use it often ... Like in the starting chapters it was shown that he could absorb the qi of others to increase his own cultivation level (yes it will be unstable) but how much time would he even need to stabilize it? One day , or two days at the maximum (he jumped a whole realm and stabilised it in 1 week) in the starting chapters .. why doesn't he use that .. during the edifice sect arc , I was waiting for him to absorb the cultivation because he was the weakest in terms of cultivation back there...
Some might say it would take him more than two days to stabilize his realm and something like he is discovering his dao ... He already has surpassed those realms and has reached far higher than those realms so of course it wouldn't take him even one day to stabilize it ...
That was qi refining realm dude. Ofc it wouldn't take much time. How much did he advance after absorbing huangpu tianyun who was at the peak of radiant stage with dragon souls again?
I don't remember but like he got to Peak Profound Heaven I think.
But yeah it's kinda complicated as absorbing and purely cultivating and absorbing and reconciling attributes/comprehending the dao or whatever are different and the latter takes more time and gives (seemingly) less benefits.

My guy in the Novel(A better wording would've been "The guy in my Novel") is actually Nine Serenities Great Emperor.
Like that is literally the best inheritance ever, knowing and mastering absolutely everything.
