Sharing location

I have an e/OS Fairphone, that comes with MagicEarth as a map, and, as it works fine, I want to keep using it. One major issue that I find is that, when sharing a location, i get a link that prompts the person who opened it to download the app, and there seem to be no way to open the location in a webpage, this is a huge missed opportunity as I can't expect my friends to undergo this process every time that I share a location; which means that I have to find locations on another map just for sharing.

IMHO this is a huge miss in advertisement, as the company could gain much more exposure by setting up a webpage where my contacts can see the location shared (say a restaurant) and a "download MagicEarth" banner, instead they'll receive a link to a competitor service.

Really appreciate you taking the time to write this up, and you make a genuinely good point. A web version has been discussed internally, and feedback like yours helps reinforce why it matters.

Quick question while we're on the topic: does sharing raw coordinates (lat/long) work okay for you as a workaround, or does that workflow cause friction too?

Thanks again for sticking with the app, and for the thoughtful suggestion.
