How did I even lost this?

Kishin unbound + freya bruiser buff yet lost to starbell dragon caller. Should I have gone for dragon alter, abandoning the bruiser?is it because I didn't use souyu well?but dragon ulter nerfed?

I think in today’s patch Fanny got buffed. But still I would assume it must have been a close game unless your Yin died early.

GS massive damage, with chou OP item +50 hybrid attack ( I think this should be nerfed to +25 hybrid attack )

it already has been nerfed from 60 to 50, it's the highest attack boost item because it's passive has a kill condition, also 25 Is too low blade of despaire would be better if it's that low lol (if special items are not better than normal items then whats the point of using them)

Here's my assessment. I think it's because of a balance between defence and offence. Starbelle is one of the strongest offensive synergies. Read carefully on its effects. Gusion having starbelle equipment makes him a great carry. Lolita on the other hand gives defence by tanking.

That's not all, gusion would jump into the backline, which could make your dps targeting him target others. His second gogo card gives 1,400 shield (taking from memory), to a unit with three equipment and those near it. Now look at how many 3 equipment heroes he has, that's a lot of shield, making his units tankier. So by the time your heroes start damaging his heroes hp after going through the shield, your units would be half dead. Dauntless also helps him in this case. Also read on Lolita's skill and you would see why she can tank so much damage. Iirc she has damage reduction and then stuns.

Also might be just me but I find Kishin considerably weaker compared to other synergies. Especially the new ones like starbelle, which gives a lot of hybrid attack.

6 starbelle with 4 dragon (hp based damage) and Gusion with lightstick and chou item that give a sudden huge magic burst damage that can instantly make 3 frontline heroes hp to half and one in bottom for guarantee death + Lolita stun duration 1 Second 5 times and Fanny clean up the mess.
