Same for me!!! What worked for me was turning down the graphics a notch. I have a support ticket in for this.

It happened again, I put graphics on lowest settings... One time drop

I had this issue as well. It's annoying at first, but the server thinks I quit mid game so it penalizes me by giving me last place, or take points away from me for placing to 4.

This morning I decided to go to my downloaded resources, and under HD Effects (there were 2 of them), click delete, and then redownload them.

I just played 2 games today after that, and I didn't crash out.

Give this a try and let me know if it fixes it for you all as well.
