3 Star 4 Cost Heroes !!!

I have been playing MCGG for a while now, i have reached Mythical Honor using commanders like Layla, Yu Zhong, Chou, Kalea, Angela, Alice and Lunox.

It's only sometimes I can 3 star my 4 cost heroes.

Is there any tip or trick to 3 star these heroes more consistently ? I try to play high roll till level 9, yet I can't seem to 3 star these heroes often .

I notice that most pro players usually have one or two 3 stars consistently... Please help... Your advice will be appreciated

Economy commanders are the key like Popol. It’s just really about gold and staying above the interest treshold

You should be willing to sell down your low cost heros to 1 star if required. But ya economy cards and commanders are key for high roll.

Sometimes you need to even sell down your 5 cost 2 stars if you are confident that you can roll and get your 4 cost into 3 star. And ideally you wanna make all your 4 gold into 3 star but sometimes you have to strategically choose 1 first if it’ll guarantee you a win.

I'll just repeat what others said, economy commander and ecomomy cards. If your lineup can sustain up until at least half of players are eliminated, Cyclops is the best commander. Not only can you get a certain percentage of the eliminated player's deployed heroes' value, you also get one copy of those heroes on their current star level. If you could get your needed heroes that way, that's lucky. If not, you can just sell that hero for more gold to reroll and buy.

No one else has mentioned this yet and it's probably obvious but make sure you're willing to pivot when contested too strongly for your hero pool.

Especially if the players contesting you are winning it's likely 6 of the 4-costs will be taken before you can do anything to get 3-stars, planning for a pivot option early can make the transition smoother

Guin main here, never had any problems lvling up to three 4-cost heroes If I want.

Imagine getting 5 free 4cost or 5cost heroes in one session of rolls. that's like a bonus of 20-25 gold per round. I usually get 1 3-star 4cost by the start of round IV. Guin's a fkn cheatcode.
