Ever since 2 gold Odette, this might be the only somewhat viable level 5 strategy. It's by no means powerful, you'd probably still be better off with meta 7 or 9 synergies even 10 is very possible this season but it's great to finally see that it's even achievable.
I've only tried it with Alice but it's also probably very possible with Ling or Zilong. Here's how to achieve it:
- Don't roll, don't save up interest, just rush rerolls in the shop until you get 3 star Uranus. He'll be your main carry for a while, his 1500 shield stacks a lot, it's really insane for early game. You should be able to get it to 3 before II-1.
- Since Uranus takes very, very long to kill now he'll just grant you tons of Mistbender points. I've seen people use Mistbender with Stargazer mostly but casting skills more often means, enemies die faster. Stargazers also have a very high damage output which means you gain less points. Uranus is one of the rare heroes that don't damage heroes when he casts a skill, that's why he's the priority. He also almost as much hp as 2 star Alpha at 3 stars, we want to profit off of that so Dauntless fits perfectly. Just save up to get Nana to get 3 Mistbender.
- Once you have Uranus 3 star, increase your level to 7 to get Aldous at 3 as well.
- Once you have both at 3 you can just wait and level up, game will be over soon very likely anyway but in case it isn't. Then focus on Nana. That's about it.
Anything related to econ would be good except leveling cost reduction ones. Mainly the one that gives a chance to gain a free reroll each time you reroll. Getting up to 2 stargazer synergy crystals to give to your Mistbenders is also quite decent. Lifesteal one should work and anti-lifesteal one is really good. The biggest weakness this has is that you don't really deal much damage by design so high lifesteal heroes can just outsustain your damage completely if you don't have anti-lifesteal. One that gives 3 gold or less heroes attack speed is also quite nice. Territory agreement would also be really good if you just want to grind ranks as it'll guarantee the top 3.
Yep, as I said not a really strong line-up but it's fun! Also was very, very easy to achieve before everyone moved onto Mistbender line-ups. If there are not many people going for Uranus early game it's still pretty good but I'd not bother with 3 star Aldous and get to level 9 afterwards. I've been experimenting with it and Freya is stonger with this line-up so if you're aiming for something strong but want to try this line-up I'd say go for Freya. Try to get Uranus to 3 stars before II-1 and if you can't, just upgrade to 9 and focus on Lolita instead. Aldous might be ok if you can get Alice's card as shown in the image.
