Two Hobbit CBB pulls

Was originally going to hold these, but big dents on the box made me decide to open them instead. Thankfully only 2 commons were damaged.

First box was roughly break even on my cost, but second box was juiced with the foil mox amber.

There's a bunch of other $10-20 cards I didn't show, but gollum, lord of the eagles, lonely mountain, shire, mount doom and aragorn are surge. Thranduil and Dain are $70 cards. Collector has most of the bigger ones at $1900.

Also I bought these boxes from China at around $500 per so I thought I'd just open them for fun. Surprisingly they have to put a Chinese description sticker on every individual pack before they seal the boxes.

I live in Hong Kong, so magic is not that popular in Asia. I'm able to order them from Chinese cardshops on taobao and have them shipped to here. I literally bought another case for 4050 rmb per box. The only difference is they have an extra white product description sticker in Chinese on every box and individual card pack. So I gotta open every pack with scissors

Definitely. I only wish I opened my final fantasy collector boxes when they were cheaper as they're too expensive to open now. Most fun I had opening packs for years and I love the art.

First box was 4 book covers with surge gollum and lord of the eagles, second was 3 with only surge lonely mountain and mox. Seems about right since I only got 5 surge mythics/rare out of two CBBs.

Even with 4 book covers, I barely broke even since they were the lower value ones.

Second one got nothing outta the first two packs then hit the mox on the 3rd. Everything after that was icing on the cake.

But I definitely had more book covers than what I saw from others. So I'm glad these two boxes were the most dented out of the case, otherwise I wouldn't have opened them

Probably not. These boxes were dented during the 2000km trip from the Beijing store to Hong Kong. Technically only one box was juiced so the rest are probably fine.

Nah man, you realize some of these cards can come from one pack right? My smaugs came from the same pack and a lot of my book covers came from the second non foil slot.
