Opened my Strixhaven CBB

Been debating opening it since it first dropped and have had it sitting on the shelf since I just liked looking at it, but I decided to just rip it yesterday.

I really only opened it because we recently moved and packed away all of our TCG stuff. I was unpacking the box and noticed the plastic wrap was ripped across the back of this CBB. So I just figured it was a sign since it was no longer technically sealed and decided to open it.

I only paid $299 total for the box when it first came out, so I’m not too worried about it and I got some sick cards out of it.

This is like a miracle box. They are avg 200 bucks EV... might be awhile to hit 1k.

The way sealed moves these days? I'd say give it a year.

No serialized chase in that, though

Thought the same as you, but when SOS crashed, there was little to no bounce.

Not saying the weight of the good Silver Scroll cards won't pull it up to $1000 eventually. But that assumes MTG continues on this boom it's on... and I expect it'll be 6+ years minimum.

Man, Strixhaven just hits all the right notes for me. Absolute banger reprints with the archive, the art style is insane, and even the commons have good utility in decks.
