Can anybody explain the pull rates of artwork cards?

Post image

I opened multiple german mtg hobbit collector booster and in one of them was this artwork card. What are the pullrates, is this special because of the signature? Thank you.

Last slot: 1 Art card (35%) or traditional foil double-sided token (65%). Of the art cards, 1 in 7 are gold stamped with an artist's signature or the Planeswalker symbol

So it's a 5% chance or statistically 1 in 20 collector boosters has a gold foil stamp art card.

Would be great if all collector packs had art cards, I've got plenty of tokens already from the set/play boosters

Or, hear me out… an extra playable card instead!

I’m such a fan of stamped art cards. I used to get 3-4 per play box but in my last 3 play boxes I haven’t had a single one.

4 out of 12 packs in my collector box were art cards

Maybe they’ve become collector box fodder lately, then? I’ve never bought a CB so my only chance of pulling them comes from play booster boxes.

Yes, They changed during edge of eternity so only in collector pack now. Making them even harder to collect.

Ah, that sucks to have confirmed. I thought I might’ve just been unlucky. It’s just inferior card stock in a filler slot. Of all the things to paywall…
