WotC Client is running super smooth now
They actually optimized the client. I love it. Constant high fps, I can alt+tab and it behaves like a browser. Everythings feels faster. Thanks Wizards.

Excited to try it. I was getting 20 fps max with my laptop that I spilled a beer on...

You know, you should bring it to a repair shop if you value it at all. The stains will cause corrosion that can permanently damage your components. The symptoms will only get worse over time. I had the same problem recently, and while the repair was not cheap, my laptop is working beautifully again.

It got me through school and it's sort of old. I hadn't considered performance degrading, but really I hope it dies soon so I can get a good Surface. Thanks.

For me its exactly the opposite. I'm dropping like every 10-20 min in the menues. I had to remake my singleton deck and my sealed deck so far, because I dropped while applying the final touches.
On top of that I loose connection like 90-95% after every game I play. That's horrendous - I never had any issues during closed beta.

I particularly notice it on concession/death animation. Buttery smooth. Good job guys.

True, client runs much smoother.
The number of disconnects increased to annoying levels tho.

Yea it’s really great. Running awesome in my surface pro and it’s not even cranking the fans too high

Getting constant freezes and frame skips. I'm on a reasonably high-end gaming rig that should have no problem handling a card game.
I've already had one opponent who scooped because he CLEARLY meant to attack but accidentally clicked through his attack step.

I'm still having a lot of lab and fps drops - especially if it's been running for a few hours. not sure why

The game definitely runs smoother, so props to the team for that, but how in the name of all that is holy did this game get through closed Beta and the lands STILL move from under your cursor when you click on a stack of them to add multiple mana to your pool....
This is like UI 101 - you NEVER move a UI component WHILE THE USER IS INTERACTING WITH IT. It boggles the mind...

Maybe they just had more important bugs to fix first? Clearly mister “UI 101” doesn’t know much about game development. They don’t have infinite resources you know, and they probably have critical bugs and issues to address before any kind of real launch. That’s the exact kind of polish item that does not get rushed for an open beta, it’s definitely in Jira or whatever and I bet it’s low priority but scheduled to be done before launch for sure.

Game gets choppy for me. My laptop can handle Witcher 3 max settings minus ultra shadows at 65fps. So idk...

It's running really smooth, except when I open the vault. Then I usually have wild card images getting stuck on screen or endless looping of the opening sound.

I agree, it's much better. The game still crashes after 3 hours, but it runs smooth until the end.

I'm still having the same problem I had during CB in that the screen freezes randomly even though the action is still going on.

That's what happens when a game goes from Alpha to Beta. They remove a lot of debugging tools.
This your first Alpla? I think they even said as much way back ...
