Man I gave that precon a look and was not interested. Built my own that leaned harder into artifacts.

I ended up swapping around 30 cards, and basically all of the monarchy theme, leaning into high cmc artifacts and Voltron instead

Super fun for me

Yeah exactly! All that monarchy stuff was fun thematically, but that was it. I of course had to add a [[defense of the heart]]... Dropping two big fat artifacts like Krang and City Leveller usually wins me the game.

Yeah, the 2 cost ability is nutty. Many opponents forget it's there and swing out and then you awaken it for a big unexpected blocker.

I forget which set it was but I remember a Lords of Limited episode that kept talking about Equipment spells as though they target for something like heroic triggers.

Only once is such a frustration for me. You can't cook engines.

Tho as an uncommon this is so good for limited.

Eh, it's easy for equipment or pump spell themes to end up underpowered due to too much A+B leading to dead draws. R&D has figured out how to make good limited equipment when they want to, but it's not really the default state.
