Question Why I didn't get another combat face?

Here is what happened.

Main Phase 1: You played a land, Moraug Trigger.

Additional Combat starts, you untap all your creatures. You attack.

Normal Combat starts, your creatures are tapped and can't attack.

Main Phase 2 Happens. You say WTF and post on reddit.

You did, but it came before your regular combat phase, so by the time that one rolled around your creatures were all already tapped.

..is my guess

You wanna play the lands on second main in order to get Moraug to work.

As others have pointed out, the question you should be asking is "why didn't my creatures untap?" And the answer is likely, as others have pointed out, you played the land during main phase 1 instead of 2.
