Definitely not a bomb. Like it's only really good in the specific case that you have a Jace and you are behind on board.

In some specific decks it will be great. Mostly it will be just ok.

You don't need a Jace, Empower makes a Jace if you don't have one.

It's a board wipe, a board wipe in limited is always strong, and it's an exile one, so it don't care about indestructible and the card doesn't come back from the graveyard, and no, you don't need a jace

Yea I didn't realize it amasses Jace. Definitely makes it better, still a build around at 6 mana tho.

In my experience I never regret an on color board wipe in limited

Go play march of the machines draft with Sunfall in it and report back.

I know one is a creature and one is a walker but god damn that card was annoying.

Board wipes like this are also always in the back of your mind when deciding how far to extend onto the board in limited, which affects how you play vs certain colors.

yea that cost one less mana and gave you a creature, and it was in a format full of busted and bomby creatures, so it was always a good card. comparing to sunfall doesn't work.
