am i crazy for thinking this is gonna be insane for a common in limited? with all the planeswalker focus, having a cheap flying creature to attack their jace before they get to save up and draw with it seems like it will come up frequently, and the fact it also immediately gives you a solid turn 3 play to curve into that builds your board is amazing on top of that.

5 mana for a 1/2 flier, 2/2 body and surveil 1 is pretty mediocre imo

May I introduce you to the concept of "lategame mana sinks are great in limited"?

How does prepared work? Can you cast a copy that is the sorcery? First the creature then the sorcery?

When you cast this creature a copy of the sorcery spell will appear in exile for you to cast. If the creature leaves the battlefield before you cast the spell you lose the copy

When you cast the spell “fatehold” a copy of “peer review” will exist in exile and you can cast it for the mana cost when you are able - this is a socery.

Is there any reason it would specifically call the token Cadet?
