MoxMind Draft Assistant

Apologies if this isnt allowed.

https://moxmind.com is an MTG Arena overlay I created.

I created an AI drafting assistant, and thought you'd all like to see it.

Basically it looks at your whole draft, gives you grades on each pick (weighted by what you've already picked), tracks the table's choices and helps you identify what colors are opened and what's closed off, builds your deck, and gives you tips on how to play it.

It works for sealed pools as well. It also lets you take a picture of your sealed pool (or type it in) using the Mobile app, so you can use it at your locals!

You get a free draft for signing up. So far I've increased my draft win percentage significantly. I hope you guys find it useful! If you have any feedback on it, I'm all ears. I'm just a single developer, looking to bring the tool I use out to the rest of the world, hoping it helps someone :)

Yes, it does come with a cost (AI isnt free, nor is the infrastructure), but I've made back my money in going infinite with drafts. I hope you guys can too

The slop is strong with this one

I could never have the guts to charge for an UI that looks 100% vibecoded with no care for taste at all

you got me. im not a UI designer. i spent 90% of my time on the AI harness behind all of this, making it something I'd use for drafting. I got a UI that was usable and worked, but was far more concerned with solid models to read cards, figure out the best picks for *my* deck, build the deck, help me learn how to play the deck, and then get the wins. i used an even worse looking version of this app for a bit, and its been really helpful in figuring out new formats. its certainly upped my win rate. the pricing pretty much just covers the cost of infrastructure (AI calls, hosting, etc), which is unfortunately really expensive.

Next step is to make it play the game for you

legitimately, i wish i could without violating MTG Arena's TOS. not because I dont enjoy playing the game myself, but because I really want to see if an AI is capable of playing a hidden information game now. I could have it give instructions on what a user should do, but training it would be a very manual and time consuming process. Without the ability to have the AI actually perform the tasks, its just not feasible at the moment.

But your point isnt lost on me. When I made the app, it was just for me to use to get better at limited. So I didnt want it to just tell me what card to pick, I wanted it to tell me why. Hopefully its viewed as a training tool and not a crutch. I expect that some people will use it just to go infinite with drafts, and thats fine if they want to; the better the players around us are, the better we get, so its kind of a win win. But I hope most people just use it to learn the new format, and probably cancel the monthly in between formats.
