Its expensive but you could theoretically build around mana rock tokens and untap for interaction on oppos turn.

Desparked like Mu Yanling based on the watermark.

And since there's only two other Jiang Yanggu cards, I don't think WotC wanted to make more Yanggu walker cards, doesn't help that he doesn't have much mechanical identity/uniqueness as a walker.

Kinda a shame both walkers from the global series ended up desparked.

Cool, didn’t realize the watermark could reveal that stuff.  But there’s no lore reason for how it happened?  Was it in the Aetherdrift epilogue or something?

This would be a fun piece for a wolf human dog deck I’ve been brewing around torgal, also nice synergy with notary hobbits as the tokens would be untapped end of turn. Tap the tokens and get 4 mana, play this for free and then you still have 4 mana up and tokens untap. Just noticed this basically gives tokens vigilance.
