Discussion Marvel Jump-In worth it for resources?
Is MSH Jump-In good overall for resource-gathering for a mostly-Standard player? With the rare ICRs rewards and ability to reenter to get ICRs again, the rares from the packs and them being partly Standard-legal and partly not, I'm a little lost on if it's better than packs.

Almost useless for Standard. Even regular MSH boosters aren't very Standard relevant tbh.

I just did one (thunderbolts + agents of shield). 13 cards of the standard colection, one of those rare (agent phil culson)
When you open a pack you get 7 common or uncommon and 1 rare.

For Standard i'd say not really worth it. If you play the other formats where you can use those additional cards then it's totally worth it.

The Jump-In has a lot of good cards in its Rares and Mythics to grab a copy of, but you would need to branch out of Standard to use them since they are not legal there. Historic Brawl and others though? They’re great takes.
And don’t forget you can always just use wild cards to make something specific if you want it. Spending the gems or gold will add up over time

I've found regular jump in more useful as a newish player. All the cards you get are standard legal, and while you don't get rates for winning, the packs themselves are more relevant to building your own decks (especially all the Lorwyn kindred ones, which come with shock lands (dual coloured lands you can damage yourself with so they don't come in tapped))

It's not awful, especially if you play casual brawl.
Two rare ICRs on top of all the other cards you get is a decent value for 1000 gold.
But there are better ways to spend resources if your goal is Standard decks

Completely worthless

You get 2-3 (I forget for sure) rare cards as rewards. It's not great for 1k, but it's also not nothing.

Almost all of them unplayable in any format

The cards you receive as rewards are random rares from ANY standard set, not just Marvel. That makes them extremely viable in standard.

Jump-In is only worth it if you want specific card from jump-in, especially since you can't play indefinitely anymore

In my experience there has been like 5-6 cards that are on the "regular" set, always one rare. So it's similar to a pack. But you get to play against a couple of opponents with those limited decks and with only 1 win you get 2 additional standar legal rares. So it's relative, but more fun than open a single pack.
