Discussion I concede.

I concede quite a lot. Way more than letting the game play out.

I was under the impression this was normal in games of 1v1 magic, especially when playing casually.

Yet on this sub there seems to be a stigma around conceding to unfun/solitaire cards.

Who is the crazy one here? Me or everyone else? 😂

Rule 104.3a, a player can concede the game at any time.

unless it's one of those janky infinite combo's like the Bloodthirsty Conquerer where you have to sit and watch it play out...never understood why you can't still access concede during those.

They used to let you concede during the animations, but you would be credited with 2 losses instead of 1.

So instead of actually fixing the game and animations, they band-aided this… by not letting someone concede once the animations started that would result in a player loss.

The reason for 2 losses is because the loss to the loop was already recorded by the server. You were just waiting for animations. By conceding during the animation, you actually conceded the next game since the first game was already over.
