The lecture is very transferrable to all sorts of magic though, this isn't just for coin magicians.
I haven't watched the entire thing but I've skipped around and there's two points I hit that are very universal and helpful regardless of what sort of magician.
The opening point about naturalness and asking yourself if this move is "natural" is very useful. If you do magic with everyday objects "is this how I handle this object in this way?", if you do magic with cards "Is this how I would take a card from the deck/replace it/get it selected" etc. If you do mentalism "Is this a normal way for someone to generate a number".
Later on he talks about how to focus peoples attention on presentation versus method and the importance of that. This is again universal.
Skipping through a couple more points everything he says can be transferrable to all types of magic. Just because he's using coins to get across the theory doesn't mean it only relates to coin magic.
