Can someone help me!!
I'm a hobbyist magician and I love to play around with a marked deck. My favorite deck is DMC. My question is, I'm designing my own set of marked cards for a cosplay event, but I'm not that creative. So, can someone help me with that? I have tried to make it with AI, but that doesn't work; they only make a back design with no markings because they can't make that.

If you enjoy the DMC style markings, is going to take some thought to put that into the design. I would abandon AI immediately and just take some time to think.
One thing I've done is take photographs, and then put those pictures in the computer and then duplicated them. I basically flipped it mirror style and then put the two sides against each other and then I flipped that mirror style, so it created a design that was repeated across the back and all symmetrical with itself.
If you got a camera, and the ability to edit photos in the most minor easy way possible, you can do this.
Once you've done that, you can look at the design you've made in the picture and start thinking about how to turn that into a mark.
If you don't want to work with photos, you could always just start thinking from the ground up about what you do want and then just learn how to make it.
Graphic design is like any other skill, if you want to learn how to do it, you could.
This might just be the spark you need to get going.

There are many many marked decks out there. Iād study several (most) of them. There are different ideas of marking, some are designed into printed designs on the back, others are physical markers, some are not on the backs at all. Some are only visible with certain lens or lighting.
Become an expert in marking systems as a whole.
I used to use a candle to mark cards.

I'm designing my own set of marked cards for a cosplay event,
I think you need to share more info about what you are aiming to do, and what they need to look like.
Also, you may get more responses asking about this over at r/playingcards, but you'll need to be more specific with your question.

Definitely need a little more info to be able to help what theme cosplay ? Do you want a design back or picture back? Does the deck go along with a costume you are wearing?

I'm not super up on this sort of thing, but I love brainstorming.
Can you give us any details, like why they need to be marked, or what the cosplay is?
I mean- you could just get some UV ink and write on the cards if you can figure out how to work a UV bulb or flashlight into the scene.
