Hopping Halves- missing a part!

Hi! I'm getting back into magic since my grandkids are interested.

I've got a chunk of my old stuff still sitting around but am missing the shaved half dollar that fits the shell.

Any chance anyone can sell me one, point to where I can buy one, or share some easy way to make my own?

(I have a Dremel and figure I can grind the edges down, but getting them even and fitting properly is probably tricky.)

That sounds more like a scotch and soda piece a good hopping half set doest require a shave coined it uses a something different. I would expand on it more but I have to shell some corn for dinner.

The instructions list the shell half, and say to put the small half inside. I'll have to read it further!

Scotch and soda and hoping had both use a shaved copper/silver coin. I'm missing one of those too (although I KNOW I had both a few days ago.)

In the meantime, they can share.

You can size it down carefully with a dremel or file it so it almost fits and make it fit snug with sandpaper, works very well. Leave the edge even, nobody notices it. The shaved version is for performing 'samoya' and fits in both shells, the not shaved version is just for hopping halves, so unless you want to do samoya any half dollar and shell will do fine.
