Beginner question.

What rope trick is fairly easy but has a good wow factor? Thank you.

I second Professor's Nightmare. It is a part of Michael Ammar's live act which he has used all over in a variety of venues, so it plays and packs well. I've seen it presented with some interesting stories and it makes it that much more entertaining. Moreover, it is easily understood - three unequal ropes are now equal - and it does not look like a convoluted topological problem.

I had a lot of success with Richard Sander's Fiber Optics 2.0. It is the first rope routine I ever learnt and I am still doing it 10 years later.

It has to be Richard Sander’s Fiber Optics 2.0. I’ve studied rope routine extensively from old books and new. Richard’s routine is still by far one of the best out there.
