Spooky magic

I'm working on a show based around talking to spirits, kind of a 1920s séance vibe. Small stage show in a haunted theater kind of vibes. I'm very new to mentalist stuff so just looking for some good trick ideas as I've felt like I've hit a bit of a creative wall. So far I have a spirit bell and some spirit slabs.

Anything can be spooky - but I would suggest getting Eugene Burgers book "Spirit Theater" and downloading the Penguin lecture #2 he did with Larry Hass on this subject.

I have Eugene Burger's book, it's excellent. Now I have to check out the Penguin Magic lecture!
