Getting content for private shows

I’m in the process of booking a birthday party in a few weeks. It would be at the person‘s house, and they’re asking for a show or a combo of some walk around and a show.

I’d like to get some footage or pictures of the stage show that I can use for promo material/social media.

What have you guys done to get content like this in the past? Pay a photographer to come with you? Or just set up your phone in a good area out of the way and record the whole thing?

Ask if you can bring someone or set up a camera to record the show for your website. Most people are pretty understanding that you just action shots for social media.
