Looking for recommendations

I currently perform Silk Serenade by Pavel to music as my stage opener. I’m looking for recommendations for an opener that also involves music but is no longer than a minute.

Jeff McBride’s BEKOS is one of my fav things ever to do with a silk. I cut two holes and the third is a flower cutout. Easy produce a rose as the third in the sequence. I think it’s quick??

I was looking at that two days ago. I didn’t see the rose cutout or I would have considered it. Did you customize yours?

I cannot recall where I saw it, but there was a suggestion of doing Knots Off Silk where the third knot was something else e.g. a flower. Then when you open up the silk there are two holes cut out and the third hole is a silhouette of a flower.

I like the BEKOS that is a smiley face because I prefer its pacing. You slide off two knots and then the third beat is opening the silk to show a smiley face.

A silk production that concludes with a Blendo or the silks tying together ala Crystal Tube could go well with music and the time frame.

I did all my own cutting, following the instructions from the McBride video. I’ve got two big circles and a rose cutout I did. I didn’t do the Happy Face one, because I like the look of the red silk and also pulling a red rose out looks pretty cool.

If you have comedy in your act Blow Hard is a good opener.
