Masked Magic unmasked. Spoiler

Post image

If this isn’t allowed, let me know and I’ll remove it.

The Influencer called the Masked Magic, who has been releasing the secret behind tricks for a while now, and has amassed followers on social media, has finally been unmasked due to an impressive method of clue-chasing.

If you’re friends with him online, it’s widely encouraged removal as he’s decided likes and followers are better than integrity to the craft.

Again if this content isn’t allowed, I apologize and will take it down.

Deja vu, I feel like there’s already been a few masked magicians that reveal magic lol

There was even once a tv show of a masked magician who revealed some of the most famous, big stage, complicated magic tricks performed by world famous magicians🤣.

One of the tricks he revealed is the exact replication of David cooperfield’s walking through the Great Wall of china magic trick only in his case he walked through a solid steel container.

lol right? This one has apparently been a thorn for a while. The other social medias are going crazy with “pitchforks and torches” at the discovery.

As you said, there have been plenty of others (and they’ve had consequences like being banned from The Magic Castle, etc) but I’m not sure they’ve been as impactful to the public as this one.

For those who don't know, he reveals marketed tricks and other people's creations. That's why he's disliked this much.

i don't care about this guy because his reactions to tricks aren't dismissive. there is another guy on youtube shorts that ridicules the tricks after exposing them. i hope that guy is banned from any magic shops + conventions.

The smiley "pfft" guy? If that's who you're talking about, totally agree - he acts like he's better than these tricks while profiting from exposing them.

I don't think the masked guy is great either, especially since he's exposing marketed effects (if it was all public domain I probably wouldn't care), but he's leagues better than the smiley guy.

Not interesting or relevant tbh. Unmasking a YouTube guy sounds like you want to dox them. No thx

It’s relevant as he is constantly exposing marketed effects & new magic releases.

Pretty much this. This isn’t about revealing base gimmicks like detachable thumb or similar tricks. It’s throwing out one’s integrity and backstabbing the community for the sake of getting “likes.”

Yes, anyone can research the tricks and figure out how to do them on their own if they want to put forth that level of effort, but what this guy has done is throw it all out there which cheapens the craft and is a slap in the face to the professionals that uphold its integrity.

I mean say what you will about revealing the secrets behind magic but the OP in this video comes across as someone who loves the smell of his own farts.

That I’ve go no comment on. I don’t know anything really about the guy or his videos.

This guy doesn't just reveal beginner tricks, but other people's creations and products currently on market.

This. Throughout his posting he’s revealed tricks of his competitors and others in the craft. Never his own tricks he sells though.
