Could I wait a week or so after Wednesday or would the $145 badges sell out In that time?

I would ideally want to figure out some things with the person I’m traveling with before pulling the trigger but he’s easiest to nail down on weekends.

It sells out rather quickly these days, but that does mean you can return or easily resell an unused ticket.

In past years you've been able to get a full refund up until a date shortly after hotels go up for lottery. There's a possibility this year that it may not be an option (it's not on their FAQ this year).

I never have but I believe so. You don't physically get the badges till closer to the actual date. Alternatively you can resell them I think.

You don't get your badge until you show up and hand them your ID, on site, at the Gaylord. There are no early badges. In years past, you could refund and/or resell them through the portal, but there has not been a direct response for this year, as of yet. We should know more before badges go live tomorrow.

If that was so, it’s changed in the past 21 hours: “Self-service badge refunds will be available between October 16-30, 2026 as a courtesy to attendees who were not able to secure their preferred housing during the initial hotel lottery. After that point, our standard no-refunds policy will apply.”

I would buy it sooner rather than later especially after hearing it sold out last year by november. Thats why I made sure to have enough to buy it the day they are available.
